Northeast Heights:

The Northeast Heights are known for great mountain and city views, with breathtaking sunsets and exquisite nighttime skies and city lights. Located near the Tram (the longest in the country), wonderful biking/walking paths are available, as is accessible mountain hiking. Comprised of Sandia Heights, High Desert, North Albuquerque Acres, and Albuquerque Estates, homes in the NE Heights range in price from $125,000 to million dollar properties. Small or large parcels of land are available, with some zoned for horses. Townhomes and condos are also available. Close to malls, shopping, the center of town, and some of the best schools around.

Southeast Heights:
A quaint area with charming houses, some over fifty years old and many with hardwood floors. Within the Southeast Heights are the Ridgecrest and the UNM/Nob Hill areas, with quick access to the University of New Mexico campus as well as downtown Albuquerque. Walk to restaurants, plays, movies, the University, and along historic Central Avenue.

North Valley:
An older part of Albuquerque, the North Valley varies from rustic living to million dollar homes, and tends to have larger plots of land, with some zoned for horses.

West Side:
Consists of Rio Rancho, Taylor Ranch and Paradise Hills, filled with great starter homes for first-time homebuyers or those looking to economize with more square footage for your money. Rio Rancho is home to Intel's largest semiconductor manufacturing facility and is particularly known for affordable housing, excellent public schools, good local shopping, and beautiful Northern New Mexico scenery.

Corrales:
The Village of Corrales enjoys a more rural feel with abundant agricultural, horse, and river properties. Corrales is a quaint community with its own village and small town ambience, yet with easy access to Albuquerque. This is a good location for an Intel commuter.

Placitas:
Situated just north of Albuquerque, Placitas is a short 20-minute commute to downtown. Lush land, beautiful views, and stunning southwestern architecture give Placitas a “getting away from it all” feel. It is a perfect spot for a couple when one commutes to Albuquerque and the other to Santa Fe.

East Mountains:
East of “the mountain” has peaceful, country living where you can enjoy the mountains, forests, and the abundance of nature on large lots of land. This is an up-and-coming area and offers outstanding values. An easy commute with quick Interstate 40 access to the city.
